This Privacy Policy describes how Tactical Drop LLC (“Tactical Drop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may collect, use, and disclose information when you visit tacticaldropllc.com or send us a request about commercial delivery, expedited freight, dedicated delivery, or related services.

This website serves business and general audiences in Dallas–Fort Worth and surrounding regional markets. This policy applies to information handled through the website and quote request process.

Information we may collect

Information you provide

If you submit a quote request, you may provide your name, company name, phone number, email address, pickup and delivery addresses, including ZIP codes, number of shipment pieces, approximate weight, requested pickup date, required delivery date or time, service priority, dimensions, and other shipment or request details. You may also choose to contact us directly by phone or email.

Booking and delivery records

When you accept a quote or receive a delivery, we may store your signed quote, signer name and signature, invoice and payment status, messages, pickup and delivery photos, recipient name and signature, delivery notes, and unattended-drop approval details. These support the agreed service, billing and proof of delivery.

Technical information

When you use the website, the site platform and service providers may process ordinary technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. Depending on platform settings and how you access the site, this may include your IP address, browser and device information, request time, pages or resources requested, server logs, and information from cookies or similar technologies. Security and form-spam prevention may also process technical request information.

How we use information

We may use information to review a quote request, understand its route and shipment requirements, assess whether the requested service may be available, respond to you, and communicate with you about the service you asked about. A request does not guarantee availability or acceptance of a shipment.

We may also use information to operate and maintain our business and website, keep business records, troubleshoot issues, protect the site and our business, and detect or prevent fraud, abuse, or spam.

Requests and communications

Quote request information is stored through the website’s Wix platform so Tactical Drop can review the request and follow up using the contact details you provide. We use those details for your inquiry and related service communications, not to promise that a shipment is booked or immediately available.

Platforms and providers

Address suggestions

When address suggestions are configured, text you type in the pickup or delivery street field is sent to Google Maps to suggest addresses. Selecting a suggestion retrieves its address details. You may enter or correct the address manually. See the Google Privacy Policy and our Website Terms.

Payments and service emails

Secure online payments are processed by Stripe. Payment details entered in Stripe checkout are handled by Stripe; our job record stores payment status, amounts and references rather than your full card details. Service emails are sent through Resend using your email address and the information needed for the message. See the Stripe Privacy Policy and Resend Privacy Policy.

Private delivery records

Anyone with your private job link can access its quote, invoice and delivery records. A separately shared proof link provides the delivery proof. Share these links only with people who need those records.

Delivery tracking

My deliveries lets you sign in using a private email link. We use the verified email to find delivery requests submitted with that address and store hashed, expiring sign-in and session credentials in our restricted Wix storage. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and work once; the secure sign-in cookie lasts up to 14 days unless you sign out. Our email provider sends these access links. Anyone with access to that email inbox can sign in. This portal does not automatically grant access to other employees or other email addresses at your company.

Private shipment links continue to provide access to their individual records. Links you choose to save on a device remain in that browser separately from your signed-in account. Signing out does not remove those shortcuts; remove them individually or clear browser data on a shared device.

For delivery tracking, we receive the driver’s GPS location, accuracy and timestamps and store the latest point through Wix. We also store the delivery reference, pickup and destination labels, delivery status and sharing times. The customer’s tracking page shows location only during active sharing; marking the delivery completed or cancelled hides it. Location-sharing access normally expires 24 hours after creation. Tactical Drop may extend sharing for an active delayed delivery; completion or cancellation still hides location. The private job page can remain available for your quote, invoice and delivery documents after location sharing expires. Expiry or ending sharing does not delete the underlying business record or last stored GPS point.

Anyone with the private tracking link can view that delivery while the link is valid, so avoid forwarding it unnecessarily. When a current driver location is available during an active delivery, the tracking map loads automatically. The displayed driver location and normal technical information from your browser are sent to Google Maps to display the map. The private tracking key is not sent to Google Maps.

Our website and quote request system use Wix services for website hosting, content management, and storage of requests. Wix and other service providers used to operate, secure, or maintain the website may process information on our behalf to provide those services. Their handling of information may also be described in their own privacy notices.

When information may be disclosed

We may disclose information to service providers supporting the website or our business operations; when we believe disclosure is required by law or legal process; when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Tactical Drop, our customers, or others; or as part of a business transition or transaction, subject to appropriate handling.

Sale of personal information

Tactical Drop does not sell personal information for money.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical practices, together with the safeguards available from our service providers, to help protect information. No website, transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, our business records, and applicable legal requirements. The time may vary depending on the nature of a request and our operational needs.

Your choices and requests

You decide whether to provide information through the quote form. If you do not provide the information needed to review a request or contact you, we may be unable to respond to that request. You may contact us to ask a question about information you provided or to request that we correct or delete it. We may need to retain some information for business records, security, or legal reasons.

If you receive a service-related communication, you can tell us you do not want further communication about that inquiry. We do not use the quote form to promise or require enrollment in unrelated marketing.

Cookies and third-party websites

We use Google Analytics to understand website visits and page usage. Google may receive page, browser and device information through this service. Analytics cookies and similar technologies are managed through the site’s consent configuration and your browser settings. See the Google Privacy Policy. The Wix platform or security features may use cookies or similar technologies to support website operation, security, or other platform functions. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, though restricting them may affect some website functions.

This website may link to third-party websites. We do not control those sites or their privacy practices, so review their policies when you visit them.

Children’s privacy

This website and its commercial services are intended for business and general audiences. They are not designed to collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek such information. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can review the request.
